Rosters shared. Flying logged.
RosterShare reads your crew calendar link and shows the flights at your base, day by day, with the colleagues who have joined on each one. You can see who is flying with you and whether a flight has landed. It also keeps a logbook and pay estimates for your own flying. The more of your base joins, the more you see. If you want to swap a flight, flag it and your base can see it.
How it works
You never type your roster in. Set it up once and it keeps itself up to date.
Sign up with your email or Google and paste in your crew calendar link. If you can't find the link, the sign-up screen has a short guide.
Email us from your company address so we can check you're crew. An admin approves your account and the page moves on by itself. You don't need to refresh it.
Your flights appear straight away and sync every 30 minutes, next to everyone else at your base who has signed up. It copies your own roster, so keep that up to date and this will be too.
Take a look inside
These are real screens from the app, with made-up crew and flights.
Each flight gets its own tile with the route, flight number, callsign and aircraft, the off-blocks and on-blocks times with the flight time between them, and the crew with their ranks.
Your crew app shows you your own flights and crew. RosterShare adds your colleagues' flights too: everyone at your base who has signed up, and who is on each flight. You can see who is flying where, and spot a friend on a flight before you get to the crew room.
Flag a flight you want to swap, or a day off you would work, and everyone at your base can see it. If someone else's swap falls on a day you're off, the app tells you.
Make a list of friends, from any base or any airline, and switch to a view of just their flying. You choose what it shows: flights, days off, standby or all of them. It's handy for finding a night when you're all free.
Your next flight, block hours and pay estimates are there as soon as you sign in, and Upcoming groups your flying into rotations. There are no spreadsheets and no adding things up at the end of the month.
Every flight you operate goes into your logbook automatically, as a short row you can tap for the full detail. You can add landings, instrument time and simulator sessions, and import your existing logbook.
It looks the same wherever you open it. On a bigger screen the roster spreads out into day columns, and dark mode is there for night flights and early starts.
Features
Most of these were added because crew asked for them.
See whether a flight has departed, is en route, is delayed or has landed. It comes from real flight data.
When your roster changes, a short summary shows what moved: the date first, then the flight, route and times.
Send a message to everyone on a flight without seeing or sharing anyone's email address. Replies come back through the app.
Send your upcoming flights to anyone as plain text.
Show times in UTC or local time at each airport, airports as codes or full names, in light or dark mode.
Use your email and password, or sign in with Google.
Security
Your flights, employee number and calendar link are personal information, and we handle them that way.
An admin reviews every new sign-up before it gets access. Nothing is approved automatically.
Add SMS verification to your account in Settings, so a password alone isn't enough to get in.
Weak passwords are rejected when you sign up and whenever you change your password.
You can view and correct your details, or delete your account along with your profile, roster history, logbook and lists, whenever you like. You don't have to ask us.
We are registered with the ICO, and the Privacy Notice says exactly what we collect and why.
It runs on Google Cloud. Data is encrypted while it travels and while it is stored.
Questions
Yes. It's free to sign up and use.
No. RosterShare never logs in to your crew scheduling app and never asks for that password. It only reads the calendar link you already have, in the same way the calendar on your phone does. It is an independent crew tool and not an official product of any airline.
It depends on your airline's crew scheduling app. The sign-up screen explains how to find it, and there is an “I can't find my calendar link” option if you get stuck.
Crew at your base who have signed up can see the flights you're operating, your name and your rank. That is the point of the app. Only you and the admins can see your email address and calendar link. Days off and standby never appear on the base roster. They are only shown to people you add to a list, or on the swap board if you flag one yourself. Sickness and fatigue entries are never stored.
The base roster shows real colleagues' flying, so only verified crew should get in. An admin checks every new account before it gets access.
Every 30 minutes, automatically. It copies your own roster, so if that is up to date, so is RosterShare.
Yes. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or laptop, and there is nothing to install.
Whenever you like, from Settings. Your profile, roster history, logbook and any lists you created are removed straight away.
